Why birds?

Brazil has the privilege of being one of the countries with the largest diversity os birds, with around 1800 species. Not only because of their beauty of their colors and songs, but also because they’re extremely important elements for the local nature. Besides being indicators of our ambient conditions, birds are responsible for the dissemination of seeds.

However, Brazil has a big problem: is the country with the largest number of endangered species. Around 122 species can disappear from the nature in the next years if we don’t do anything to stop. And, if it happens, we’ll lose not only their beauty and their songs, but also all the benefits they bring to our ecosystem.
